Anyone still playing Overwatch in 2020?

Been playing this game since May 23, 2016 (technically the day before street launch), and I still love it. They keep me wanting to come back even when I put it down due to the events throughout the year, because I don't want to miss out on any cosmetics. At this point I have 61,100 coins saved up and own everything in the game. I am account level 1,300 (Gold Border with 1 Star).
Mains (over time, but this changes a lot with balance changes): Reinhardt (still okay, but kind of rough in this meta), Winston (used to enjoy, not meta), Roadhog (always a go to when I feel I need to try and carry a situation - but need an Orisa/main shield tank), Sigma (enjoy him a lot and he's currently meta), I can play Orisa but she's super boring, but currently very meta
I don't do a lot of DPS in Competitive with the Role Queue system, but I play a ton of Reaper. For Support mostly Lucio and will play Baptiste on defense a good bit.
I do have Competitive anxiety and I'm trying to get over it so I can climb, but it's hard to not get tilted in this game. No other game in the history of my gaming life, which is most of it, has tilted me like OW. My career highs are 2720s in Tank and Support (of course the new Role Queue system is new, but I hit my highs with these changes). I only have 89 hours in Competitive but have placed in all 20 seasons, that goes to show how much anxiety I have regarding it. For Quick Play I have 838 hours.

Every time I play it I enjoy it I just don't play it often. I haven't been playing anything really though I don't think I've played Fifa or Fortnite in months.

Booted up for the first time in about 8 months last week. Saw that they added a game lobby while you wait for an arcade match. Waited about 5 minutes and never got placed in a match. Turned it off and played Apex.

I don't think I've played more than an hour since Sigma came out.
And I haven't even played that much since Ash came out either. Comp was just so frustrating. Nobody wanted to play support. Nobody wanted to tank. Nobody had any idea how to team fight. You'd get a group of two where one player would play healer and only focus on healing their teammate.
Maybe when OW2 comes out I'll give it another try. But the shine of OW has worn off IMO. I'd rather play Paladins.

They introduced forced 2-2-2 role queue back in August. It's made it better, but DPS queue times are BAD especially in the higher ranks. I wait anywhere from 4-10 mins for a DPS comp game but usually less than 3 mins for tank or support.
This creates a SR for each role. For Season 19 I hit 2720s for Tank and Support, didn't play much DPS because of queue times and of course the pressure on DPS but I think I hit 2403...
My account has never been in Silver across all 20 seasons and I never want it to. Hell I don't like dropping below the 2300s.

I do. I took a break for awhile but started back up last summer. I still enjoy it but usually stick to Quickplay. I'll play Comp just to get a rating and the points but that's about it usually (SR low 2000s).
I love playing Doomfist, Mei, Symmetra and Roadhog as they can cause the most chaos imo. I play support the most though as the wait times are the lowest. I'm pretty good with Ana, Baptiste and Moira. I'm getting better with Birgitte and can usually keep up with a main healer or even outheal them from time to time; just can't be too aggressive.
I think the 2-2-2 system is better overall but I miss seeing creative team make ups. Defending a point with a good Mei, Symmetra, and Tourborn can be a blast.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do when Overwatch 2 comes out.

Another big change (supposedly) is going to be announced in next week's developer update that is going to deal with stagnant metas (somehow). Jeff Kaplan confirmed on the official forums it is NOT hero bans.

Is Junkrat still any good?
Always loved bombing myself up to some obscure area and rain down grenades

I used to play it as my "kill time" game, but I realized I prefer GTA Online to Overwatch for that and kind of left it.
Overwatch was fun when I played with my friends, but that doesn't happen anymore. Even when I was playing I never played competitively anymore, just events and unusual custom games.

Still playing on Xbox. Diamond Lucio. Silver DPS. Aim is shite.

Nice. Lucio is my best support by far.. just haven't played enough comp games to really climb. When I get into those 2700-2900 Plat games that have Diamonds sprinkled in I have found it much tougher than games just in the 2600s for instance.

Actually just kind of came back into meta. A lot of people running Zen with Baptiste in Masters/GM right now.

Check this POTG I got yesterday in a comp game.. I was surprised the Halt went off with Rein pinning me. I thought I pressed right click but not sure I did.... does Halt effect work if you just die? I figured not...

I don't think so either. It would halt if it hit a wall, but there's nothing there. Looks like you got it off right before the pin...just a delay on the killfeed. Love a good envirokill.

You can tell I freaked out afterwards and didn't quite know where to shoot. At least I had the wherewithal to fortify.
