So if you're Will Wade...do you take Shaq's kid?

I'd say yes, but if you do I would think you're going to let Courtese Cooper go to make room for him.

And I probably only do that once I know his heart condition isn't a concern.

You'd get three years out of him. He doesn't really look like he's ready to hit the NBA anytime soon.

Would be a PR nightmare not to...but he wouldn't need a scholly, and Shaq of all people would get that.

It would be worth the scholly to have shaq going crazy at a bunch of games all the time.

I don't think people realize he was a borderline 5* recruit. He had a heart condition that by all accounts has been taken care of. He's not just known because he's Shaq's son. I hope Wade goes all out to get him. Would be huge for the basketball program to have Shaq around often and Shareef would help us win.

You have connections. What have you heard?

Also, where is Bubba Hotep when we need him?

In respect of what Shaq means to LSU I’d take his son.

I might have to re-enroll, so that we can camp out on the ramps, like the old days. He would be a great addition. I just hope he, truly, is cleared, medically.

How so?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but by my count LSU currently has one open scholarship to give. Plus, whatever scholarships are made available by any or all of Smart, Williams, Watford leaving after this season, right?

Currently there are two open scholarships on this year's team, right? One unused and one vacated by the JC transfer, Deshawn Thomas, who never played for LSU and has entered the transfer portal.

Then you have three scholarship seniors: Graves, Mays and Taylor.

Of those 5, 4 have been filled: 3 freshman signees and the transfer, Leblanc. I know LSU is after at least 1 more signee (and likely others). But even still, that would leave 1 to 3 additional scholarships from the early entries. Unless......Smart, Williams and/or Watford would all return for next season

Yea, I don't see the connection to Cooper. You either take him or you don't. Has nothing to do with Cooper.

And if Wade is willing to take a flier on players like Deshawn Thomas, then giving Shareef a chance is a no-brainer.

I read the article and saw the picture of him playing in a game at UCLA's arena. To all the people who like to complain about the crowds at the PMAC, please notice there was no one in the stands. And this was UCLA.
