Silence...The fact that we’re not hearing a bunch of rumors is a good thing

The fact that we’re not hearing a bunch of rumors that turn into a circus is a good thing. It first shows O is being deliberate and thinking this over. Will not make another mistake like Canada. Also, Woodward is keeping it on the DL.

Considering he hasn’t left for Baylor yet, that may be the case. He could be choosing between Raymond and Busch.

It won't be raymond. Busch has been a DC at a couple of other schools

Maybe. I think it’s just as likely that the whirlwind of celebration and catching up on recruiting means there just isn’t as much going on as we assume.

I guess some rantards would rather have the rumors, drama and smoke than just be pleasantly surprised when a situation is handled the way it should be.
In their defense though, Alleva had a good part of the fan base accustomed to sheer incompetence.

The mark a great AD is that you don't hear shite during a coaching search. You also don't know he exists until there is a coaching search to be conducted

I mean even in previous cycles, the staff usually didn’t get settled until after signing day.

I think its a good sign that Woodward has sealed up the leak in the AD office. Alleva couldn't even mention a coach's name without the whole world knowing about it. Was a big reason for the last coaching change fiasco and a big reason Alleva lost his job imo.

Very true. It does take some of the fun out of it. I wish they would make a good hire and get the ball rolling.

Yes. LSU may have finally shored up the abysmal media relations that haunted the Miles years.
