$1.50 to see Mike?

Just getting around to posting this. On drive home from NC last Tuesday I stopped on campus to check out merchandise at bookstore. On way out I decided I’d drop by to see Mike. I went down right side of parade grounds (dalryple maybe) and got stopped at booth/gate. Lady said I needed to turn around and take a right at light, go down 5 streets and park by stadium and walk over and pay $1.50 to see Mike. I didn’t question her and instead headed on back to interstate.
Were they actually charging people to see Mike last week or was she running a side hustle with someone on other side of stadium?

Interior of campus is closed to traffic, she was directing you to where there are pay lots to park. They aren't charging people to "see Mike", just enforcing normal parking rules. If you want to do it for free, go on a weekend or in the evenings after the parking gates are lifted

school is in session, you can't just park anywhere you feel on campus. It's not a charge to see Mike, its the parking lot fee. I shouldn't have to explain this

i park in the spots right in front of the Lawton Room everytime im on campus. NEVER pay NO tickets yet..knock on wood
