We should have won the SB in 2011 and 2018 seasons.
Or at least gone to one more. This group has underachieved fairly significantly. We’re all grateful for the 1 that we got, but the only 2 seasons the Saints achieved success in line with their talent was 2006 and 2009. That’s frustrating.

Delete yourself. Getting robbed last year by the refs is NOT underachieving, especially not "fairly significantly." This season they chose a really bad time to have a bad game, and much of that I attribute to showing up expecting to win rather than being focused on earning it. You can say they underachieved in that game, but going 13-3 is NOT underachieving "fairly significantly."
You idiots need to go find another team to follow, because you're all embarrassments to this one.

The Saints definitely could and should have appeared in two more Super Bowls.
However, I remember Times in the 70’s and 80’s when I would have been ecstatic to be told we would win the Sper Bowl that we did.
That season was almost surreal.

Even the 2009 Saints were flawed in ways that often prevent a SB-winning year for a franchise.
The other years you mention when the Saints "should" have won? Also flawed in ways that often prevent a SB-winning year.
I forgot to mention a very important factor for ANY franchise to have an SB-winning year: you will need a healthy portion of Good Luck. Goddess Fortuna MUST shine on your franchise that year in which you win the SB.
