OK, so let's get into some real talk about how could we possibly break out of this 2 party establishment when 99% of people are going to align to a "side"?
What has to happen for this to gain momentum? Is the media to blame?

The issue is that conservatives don't want to change the status quo. They are okay with it so long as they see benefit from it.
This typically translates into politics specifically designed to benefit corporations above all else.
Companies will lobby for their interest. So that means the government is controlled by a private group of people, not the actual population at large.
That's why people want to support Bernie. Not saying it's a perfect choice but the only alternative for a Democrat are corporate establishment Dems like Biden. So as far as they are concerned you might as well vote Republican.
Seriously, its better to just vote GOP instead of corporate Democrat. At least GOP you know what you're getting.

Is this breaking out of the 2 party system an idea you really like or are you just trying to insult some more?
You said I don't deserve to be on your side, but you didn't say what side that was. You talked generally about Capitalism, and I thought you made some good points. Is that the side you meant? I don't deserve to be on the Capitalism side?
I guess you're expecting me to be some kind of expert, and you're angry that I'm not. I know I don't understand a lot about this which is why I asked the question.

Might not be as well off as some of us are had our parents not instilled in us a quality work ethic and valuing education. If I were poor/in need, I think I might look at some successful people and try to emulate what they have been doing, which would mean valuing education and working hard

Because the government is involved.

No it isn’t. The mindset of “woe is me” is wrong.

So explain the millions of success stories who beat generational poverty and broken homes by staying in school, not having children, and getting a job?

Cankles? If you’re really cankles then yes, you should vote Bernie because you screwed the man out of the Dim nomination in 2016.

You serious Clark?
The individuals that make up Amazon or any other corp DO pay taxes.
You know that words have established meanings right?
If 10 people go to dinner and agree to split the bill and the bill is $500., every persons fair share is $50.
If one of those people stands up and says..."I'll pay for 7!" and one of those people stand up and says.."You greedy arse...why don't you pay your fair share?" That person is an idiot.
The top 10% of earners pay about 70% of the taxes.
Same thing.

so you think electing someone who has generated a net worth of a several million dollars while literally being a career politician will do anything to fix the status quo?
If you want to vote for a career politician to change the status quo, they better have a history of authoring bills (whether or not they pass) that will try to change that status quo.
Define fair? Who is to say they are not paying their fair share? Also, Bernie has admitted that all of his tax changes will also affect the middle class. How much do you wan tot bet it will disproportionally affect the middle class even more, form a percentage standpoint.

Oppression? Could you give examples? Because personally I am doing fine, I'm not rich but the economy is rocking and I am not being oppressed in any way
