He's embarrassed. Plain and simple. He got punked in the public eye and thinks that pushing the issue on this is somehow his revenge.

Imagine this guy throwing a punch in that locker room. That guy would be in a coma

If that's the case why didn't the warrant come out Tuesday and not today?

The officer and Odell are both idiots, but Odell's name is out there so his reputation suffers. What's the officer's name, so he can reap the same response for his poor judgment?

I hate the respect is earned argument by posters in here. All humans should START out respecting others until that respect is thrown away. OBJ lack of respect to another human by just slapping him on the arse is the issue. Should he be arrested...of course not. But have fricking respect for a fellow man until respect is no longer earned. OBJ is 100 percent at fault.....Also to all you fricking idiots putting the man down bc he is a “security guard” or a “mall cop”, at least the guy is fricking working. Dont put down any job someone performs. This may be a second job for him bc he needs to pay for kids education etc...just respect that the man is working.

I was half-way okay with this until it comes out he was seeking sexual battery charges. Yeah he's a little bitch.

His fellow officers will know his name and lose respect for him for trying to get a sexual battery charge on somebody for a locker room buttslap.

there is no way that cop is smart enough or quick enough to think that way. PR clearly came up with "jovial".

fricking classic cop napoleonic complex.

How can you dumb fricks agree with this, OBJ's actions are juvenile at best with no defense accept a sincere apology and a promise he's going to get help to control his sickness. Hope one day you need this "public servant" and he gives you the finger
