I hope so. But Burrow was here in 2018, so was E. The biggest factor in our big season is leaving and we can only hope E has it downpacked now. Would love to see Brennan light it up.

I think he's going to be good, but people will still shite on him because Burrow was THAT good... Sucks to be the guy to follow the generational player

You know most of this board is expecting him to be good, right?

The mold is there....off season workouts with Myles and receivers....catching drills... This offseason gelling with receivers will make or break Brennan. If he follows the routine that Burrow and company established last summer....and gets in sync with his receivers through relentless work, he will be just fine. But it starts now...

Shut who u? I think he's going to be a good QB. He's got a cannon and if our offense stays similar to what it was with the new OC, he can do some nice things.

Problem is, since people will try to compare him to Burrow, and that's just not fair. It's not fair for any QB, tbh.

He'll do well. He has the smarts and arm talent. He's studied Joe's habits and behaviors. He knows the system and the reads.

No one could replicate what Burrow did this year. It's otherworldly. He doesn't have to.
I am more concerned with our defensive losses. We won't have huge margins of error to lose focus on defense next year.
Regardless, it's all good. Orgeron is building. A step back is expected with our projected losses but it's not going to be precipitous and nothing like the drop off in 2008 after our previous title.

If he can't have success here next year with the talent he will have he won't have it anywhere

I believe from what he has shown that he has the tools to do the job. He just needs to develop that Kool Killer instinct that Joe Burreaux had and he will be Lights Out !!!

Brennan definitely has the talent, but that statue is an interception machine.

Myles has the talent and mind to do very well. The intangible is whether he has the respect of the players and leadership skills . . . and that cannot be gauged until he is out of Burrow’s shadow and the team is his to lead. More than anything, that is what I hoped he learned from Burrow as it is the foundation for everything else coming together.
