I will say that Jacob Hester was pissed when Miles got canned. Wonder if he still feels that way.

kept us in game with game tying drive in 08

finished game off for JJ in 2010

the issue was how miles handled him. miles fricked up. ROYALLY. miles stated before the season he would need BOTH! like we needed JJ in bama game in 2011. JJ was useless in natty.

About as worthless as JJ in the championship game.
Am I right?
Wonder why no changes in the game plan in the second game.

The entire offense was an exercise in the futility that was Les Miles. I was really hard on Jefferson, but maybe Miles deserves a lot of that criticism. Still, Jefferson could not read a defense to save his life. Some guys were wide open in the NCG, but he NEVER saw them.

100% true. So glad that Les Miles is gone. He was an awful coach. BTW, where in the Kansas is RickDaddy?

DeAngelo Peterson on one play and Jarvis Landry on another had TDs if the line gave JJ any time at all to deliver to them.

I'm actually ashamed people think so lowly of Les. Yes he had to go but still his worst season despite everything was 8-5. Which at the end of the day isn't horrible, just didnt meet the expectations he had previously set and what fans expected.
Dude recruited well, LSU never had a scandal, most of his former players love him, and he has kept a positive attitude about LSU. He has moved on and it is sad the "fans" can't move on despite what he accomplished they only want to focus on the negative or what is negative for them.

I always liked Will. I also always liked Les. Whether what Will said was true or not, there was no reason for him to air it publicly like that and crap on Les when Les was just offering congratulations to the program and being very thoughtful and kind toward the current staff and team. No reason for Will to take a shot like that. I'm not saying he was wrong in what he said ... just wrong to say it publicly like that completely unprovoked.

For the remaining Miles lovers on this site: Remember that guy basically extorted a $4.3M contract with a $15M buyout barely one year after sh!tting the bed in the Natty and underperforming the following season (10-3) with a team LOADED with NFL talent. Screw Miles, whatever negative publicity, whomever the source, no matter the time nor place is justly served as far as I'm concerned!

Rickdaddy was in favor of firing Miles. His views were very misunderstood because he would atgue for seven pages with anyone who disparaged Miles with incorrect data, or hyperbolic insults, but he wanted Miles fired. For example, someone would state that Miles was the worst coach in LSU history, and RD would go to arguing. But it was the facts he was arguing about, not whether Miles should be fired.

RD is just an argumentative mother frigger. That's why he and Tiger Ree go at so much, they both thrive on conflict. They're basically jerking each other off.

He did not "basically extort" anything. LSU entered freely into negotiations with him and his agent. No extortion at all.
