Honestly don't know really anything about him, but I've seen his name brought up in case Brady bolted.
Why would this be a good move?

He would be a candidate to replace Brady. Very bright guy.

A southern California native, Munoz installed the offense at UL-Lafayette in 2008 that went on to set program records for total offense (5,390 yards) and touchdowns (54). He served as ULL’s pass game coordinator/quarterbacks coach (2008-10), receivers coach (2011-15, 2017) and offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach (2016) before head coach Mark Hudspeth was fired after the 2017 season.
Munoz, 44, previously spent three seasons at Eastern Illinois (2005-07) and had stints at Charleston Southern (2004-05), Anderson College (2001-02), Southeast Missouri (1999-00) and his alma mater, Bethany College (1998) in Kansas.

Why did he got from FBS OC to analyst?

One of the great things about a legit shadow staff is that sometimes quality replacements are already in the building.

What we should be looking at are his failures. There is a reason hes just an analyst.
Brady is young as hell so I can see that. But whats this guys resume?

He left from ULL because Hudspeth got fired. ULL had good offense I’ll tell you that much.
He’s great with QBs, I think he’s our guy.

From 2008-10, Munoz served as the Ragin’ Cajuns pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach, installing a “Play Station” attack that shattered school records for total offense (5,390 yards) and touchdowns (54) in 2008. He helped former Cajuns QB (and current receivers coach) Michael Desormeaux record the second-most yards of total offense in school history and as a result, Desormeaux was named the 2008 Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Year. Prior to joining the Louisiana staff, Munoz spent three seasons at Eastern Illinois (2005-07), starting as receivers coach in 2005, co-offensive coordinator in 2006 and offensive coordinator in 2007. During his time with EIU, the Panthers were ranked in the top-25 each season in the Division I FCS rankings and advanced to the FCS Playoffs

Ensminger was a failure as an OC at every previous job until he came to LSU.
Orgeron gave him a chance. Why not Munoz?

UL finished 108th among 128 FBS teams nationally in total offense in 2016.
The Cajuns were 59th in the country in rushing yards per game at 178.9, but they were tied for 106th in passing offense at 178.2 yards per game.
UL also finished 109th nationally in scoring offense with 23.6 points per game.

He’s an analyst who specializes in blitz pick-up. He analyzes film and fills in Ensminger and the QB about what to expect blitz-wise from the opponent depending on which down it is, then formulates strategy to pick-up/block/avoid blitzers.

There are a lot of really good former coaches in analyst roles
Usually just a bridge for the next job

as posted above, Munoz was at ULL when Hudspeth was fired in 2017. Napier pretty much cleaned house and brought in his own people. I'm guessing Munoz liked living in Louisiana and took a paycut so he could work at LSU and not have to move his family across the country to another university.

He’s the main one recruiting Caleb Williams

One reason Munoz was hired was because of his knowledge of the RPO offence. He's essentially Joe Burrow's QB coach and they are very close. There's a reason Burrow had him sit in the front row during the Heisman award show. He's also best friends with Jake Delhomme.

Yea the “he’s just an analyst” is no longer a knock. Those guys are legit sources of talent. Alabama has promoted two analysts to OC.

I've only seen Williams mention Brady the few times he stalked about LSU.
