Right.
I think it's going to be munoz and e for another year
Frank Wilson back on staff and Mickey or Tommie rob out

it shows no value to keeping SE if he needs someone to hold his hand.
there is a lot more to being OC than gameday and SE did all the heavy lifting Sunday-Friday, bruv. he's been doing that for years
Brady had no real experience in developing gameplans or actually coaching, and that's the majority of being an OC. that was all SE
Rhule is probably going to effectively be co-OC in Carolina as well. Brady has 1 year of actual coaching experience on offense: 2019
also, i'm going to be honest and say the offense was somewhat exposed against Clemson so i'm curious to see how different it is in the NFL

Why are you all so mad? We win the natty with the best ever team. Relax.

So tell me this, didn't burrow improve with Brady's offense. Same thing as Steve e. He looked better cause it was Brady's concepts Simple as that
It's not an either or scenario. It's multifactorial.
-We needed to evolve the offense and Brady was instrumental in that
-Our OL had injury issues last season and it was Cregg's 1st season as the OL coach
-Burrow didn't arrive till the fall so he had not continuity with the WRs and was learning a new system without the benefit of an offseason
-Our WRs were inexperienced
-We were breaking in 2 new RBs
-Morreau was good, but Moss is a better receiving threat
-Having a grad QB that is taking online classes and can devote nearly all of his time to game prep helps too
I'm not discounting Brady. I think he's the next Sean McVay in terms of rising star ability. I just think there were a lot of issues that held us back last season offensively outside of Ensminger's ability as an OC. He's also proven to be like O and is willing to adapt.
With all that being said, I like the idea of bringing Munoz up. The blueprint is set. We just need to keep it in place and keep tweaking it.

Not arguing, why do you say this? The offense started slowly, but the second quarter was what we all have come to expect...or so i thought.

Sorry for calling you a liar lol but you said Brady was calling plays EVERY DAMN TIME LOL
I said, every time they showed Brady during the broadcast, he was either calling plays or talking with Joe. EVER. DAMN. TIME. LOL
I also stated that SE called plays as well.

I don’t know who was calling the plays as I wasn’t up there, but there’s only one way a two person dynamic works out. It’s exactly like it does in any walk of life. Take for example an airline captain and first officer.
The first officer does a lot of the manual inputs, even landing the plane, under the guide of the captain. When shite hits the fan the captain will say, “my controls,” and will take over in critical situations.
I consider myself a pretty good reader of people, and in my observations of E I think he is a savvy, confident old bird. That guy has a strong demeanor. If he thinks he can handle it by himself then he can. If he wants some assistant than he will get it. He’s not just taking up space. He is the captain and he is confident in his experience and abilities. That is my read of him.
We are all speculating here, but Steve is an asset, and he’s who O has tagged as captain of his offensive cockpit. Steve will figure it out. O will figure it out. It won’t look like the greatest offense ever fielded (because no offense will repeat what was done on the field by that combination of players), but it will be a competent offense. Getting great players has never been a problem.

I never said he didn't do any heavy lifting, my post was centered on gameday play calling.

That's why I said it was a transition and SE was like a mentor for Brady

Not really, they were pinned inside the 5 yd line and Clemson was COMIN' lol. Once LSU started away from the goal line they took control
I think people are looking too much into the "value" comment I posted.
I personally believe it will be SE as OC and no one will fill Bradys roll. If SE did all the heavy lifting, as you stated, and called the majority of plays (as stated by others, I disagree) then why fill bradys roll? What exactly did Brady do, just show up with a "binder" full of plays and SE did everything else lol
I was simple stating that if CEO feels that they MUST replace Brady, then the idea of SE doing all the heavy lifting, and majority of playcalling is greatly exaggerated and might as well start with a new OC, like Munoz and SE retire or stays on as QB coach.
Going back to my original post, SE will be the OC and no one fill bradys roll or LSU will have a totally new OC with SE retiring.

I have this notion that SE is a good playcaller when it isn't his own offense. He was a significantly better playcaller in Miles/Cameron's last offense than Miles or Cameron themselves, but for a variety of reasons, struggled in installing his own. Brady helped develop the passing game and the RPO, and maybe that is a framework going forward.
I think the most important thing is continuity, keeping the same principles and playbook, and have that be our identity going forward. Bama doesn't struggle replacing coaches, and neither should we if we are going to remain elite.

Correct, that's why I think 1 of 2 things happen. No one replaces brady and SE remains OC or SE retires and some like Munoz takes over as OC. I just don't see Brady being replaced to work beside SE in the booth...unless they want to do a 1 year transition with Munoz...so 1 of 3 lol

QUARTERBACKS
JOE LOMBARDI
OFFENSIVE LINE
DAN ROUSHAR

Maybe a replacement for Brady if LSU is paying more and they want to do what Brady did to land a better NFL gig

Exposed probably isn't the right word but it was mind boggling trying to figure out why they kept using the tight, bunch formations that allowed Venables to continuously blitz from different areas.
The tight bunch formations opened up the doors & played right into what Clemson wanted to do. It was also frustrating at times to watch them completely ignore the numbers advantage the offense had in the box with the run game.
Had they run the ball more, they would have sustained more drives & scored more points. The opportunity to score 60+ was there had the run game been utilized more.

Once LSU started away from the goal line they took control
There were missed opportunities to put the game away earlier where the offense did not start off back up in their own end.
The perfect example was the opening drive of the second half. Matter of fact, the offense went 3 & out on their first two drives of the second half.
It was actually the defense coming alive after giving up an opening scoring drive to Clemson in the second half that allowed time for the offense to get their act together after stalling on their first two tries in the second half.

I think Brady brought new concepts and him and e implemented him
Think people want to shite on e and laugh at him like he's some fool

Maybe so but Brady is going to have to show an ability to be more versatile with his play design & playing calling when it comes to the power run game.
The passing game concepts he brought to LSU was great when teamed up with Burrow & that WR group but the Tigers never used any 21 or 22 personnel groupings or formations. Not doing so will catch up to him in the NFL.
Even Sean Payton uses those personnel multiple times each game with the Saints. When the Rams were rolling in 2018, it was because of the success of the power run game with Gurley which allowed McVay to take advantage of play action & hard bootleg rollouts with shot pass plays down the field. That made life for Jared Goff real easy. This past season, the run game wasn't the same & Goff was nowhere as effective.

We ran A LOT of his RPO concepts this season.
The RPO’s are not unique. What’s unique are the passing game concepts Brady got from his time at the Saints.
