I thought Marvin Williams was going to be the best player in the 05 NBA draft class. Thought Michael Kidd-Gilchrist would be good too.

Michael Clayton WR

Thought for sure when I was a kid he would have a 10+year career in the NFL with multiple Pro Bowls

Clayton and Fournette both had good Rookie years at least.

Not college to pro but I thought Mary Cain was going to be huge on the world stage. Granted Alberto Salazar fricked her up pretty bad but still.

It's still early, but I though Mo Bamba would be a perennial DPOY candidate in the NBA.

I didn't think he'd be dominant or more than a sometimes starter, but I thought Manziel would at least have a journeyman NFL career.

I thought Mike Williams out of Clemson would be an absolute stud for the Chargers.

He is a solid 2-3 receiver but I had him pegged as a future top 5 guy.

Former saints RB troy davis
He had 2-2000 yard season in the 11 game seasons. Playing for shite teams vs old big 8 defenses

). He became the first running back in NCAA Division I-A (now Football Bowl Subdivision) history to gain 2,000 yards in two different seasons. During his three seasons at ISU, the Cyclones finished last in the Big Eight standings in his sophomore and junior seasons and last in the Big 12 North division standings his senior year.

In 1996, Davis was selected as the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.[5] He was recognized as a consensus first-team All-American at running back in 1995 and 1996.[6]

Davis finished fifth in voting for the Heisman Trophy in 1995.[7] In 1996, he narrowly finished second to winner Danny Wuerffel. He won three out of four Heisman regions, but lost badly in the South region.[8] He was also nosed out for the Doak Walker Award by another Big 12 running back, Byron Hanspard of Texas Tech.[9] In both cases, he was largely hampered by the fact that he played on a losing team.

And he did nothing in nfl

I thought Charles Rogers and USC Mike Williams would be dominant.

As a Raider fan, I was so excited to see future superstar Jamarcus Russell handing off to Mcfadden, the best RB in football

Answer is obvious.....2013 SEC Defensive POY.....not sure how he flamed out before he really got going.....

Did I say Michael flamed out? I apologize, that’s a poor choice of words. He was a victim of blatant discrimination.....
