Clemson complaining about the OPI.

It goes both ways. The defensive PI on the interception by the LSU D was the worst call of the night. The OPI on the Clemson receiver wasn't that bad of a call. The Clemson receiver initiated contact. Clemson fans can complain all they want but the OPI against Clemson wasn't the worst call all night. The refs worst call went against LSU on the int that was called back.
I'm not going to sit here an bash the refs. After reflection it seems the they were pretty consistent on WR versus DB play. They allowed a lot of contact if the players kept their hands inside. However as soon as the elbows were extended and the hands were outside of the opposing player they called PIs.

It was a bad call but it made no difference in the game.

They need to take their arse whipping and STTDB!

I don’t hear them griping about the non-call in the first half when the Clemson DB literally tackled Chase because he knew he was beaten.

That ball was uncatchable. That was a good no call.

It wasn't a terrible call. The receiver grabbed Vincent's jersey first pulled him towards the end zone.

And in the 4th as well. Two of them did it that time

It was a bad call but so was the call on the interception, refs tried to make themselves too much part of the game unfortunately and put a damper on it a bit. Just wish they would let physical games be physical sometimes.

Was a horrible call . But didn’t affect the outcome as anyone could see.

I agree it wasn't that egregious, but it was still OPI. I wouldn't have cared if they didn't call it though.
The one early in the game when they pushed Stingly was more obvious and wasn't called.
THe one they called on Fulton on the int was a pathetic call.
and the felt like the sloppiest most penalized game we played all year, so they can complain all they want. We gave them tons of opportunities throughout the game with penalties.

I thought the refs called a great game last night. I would be saying the same if somehow Clemson would have won.

He grabbed Vincent’s jersey and threw him in order to gain an advantage. Not sure how that’s a bad call. There’s a difference in disengaging from contact and throwing the DB.

There is always questionable calls on both sides. The Fulton play should have been an int, it all comes out in the wash. Plus on the Higgins td, he grabbed Vincent’s jersey and also extended his arm, clearly gaining an advantage, it was a little ticky tack but not a blown call.

Don’t care; we got the Nat.

The Pac-10 Refs were terrible, they missed a lot of calls and called some bullshite calls on both teams.

There were some bad calls both ways. LSU prob benefitted more than Clemson, but overall...it didn’t make a difference in the outcome.

They called the game fairly. The offensive PI mirrored Fultons interception that was nullified. So while these were calls that rarely get made, they were fair about it.

If you look at it close the receiver had a hold on the defenders jersey and spun him around, and actually used that momentum of that action to adjust to the ball.

The officiating was bad both ways.
1. Facemask on Delpit was bad
2. Clyde's hand out was bad
3. Chase getting tackled (not on the bomb but on a 3rd down where they said it was incidental)
4. The pass interference on Fulton's int was a joke
5. The offensive interference I thought was technically right but could have been a non call
6. They missed a ton of holds, including on the facemask by Chiassion on Lawrence
7. The targeting was correct but stupid rule
Overall, I'd say they evened out. Maybe a slight advantage to LSU but the int being taken away was a killer.
Really, the game shouldn't have even been as close as it was. Chase drops a TD and the missed FG and this is a total blowout.
