Burrow is the next (disrepected) Drew Brees

All week I've seen talking heads/scouts/sportswriters choose Trevor over Joe when asked who they would choose if they had to pick one QB. They maintain that while Burrow has been "unbelievable", Lawrence's "ceiling is higher".
Joe is about to set historic records in every CFB passing category imaginable, in addition to winning every award while leading his team to an undefeated season with championship hardware. Isn't that the ceiling? Burrow is already there. And you would rather choose someone that potentially could accomplish that?
It reminds me of Drew Brees' career, that despite breaking every known NFL passing record & winning a Lombardi, somehow, every year there was a "Oh Brees is unbelievable, but (Rodgers, Newton, Mahomes, etc) has a higher ceiling and is the best QB in the NFL."
It's like they get so enamored with cannon arms & measurables, that when these prospects simply approach greatness, they ignore the lesser physically-gifted QBs who have annually bathed in greatness. They forget decision-making, accuracy/ball-location, and leadership are more important than measurables.
I suspect Burrow will have to deal with this his whole NFL career. On the bright side, that subtle disrespect has seemed to fuel the careers of less-physically-gifted winners, like Montana, Brady, & Brees.

I think your trying to play the “Dabo” role.
Burrow is well respected won the Heisman and going # 1 overall.
Such disrespect I tell ya

I mean, he’s won every QB award known to mankind.

Trying to save face... that's all.
We'll see them head-to-head tomorrow night! Can't wait!
(did these experts mention why Lawrence was 54.5% against the first legit pass defense he faced all season - Ohio State?)

& you fell for it
If they said Joe there is no conversation....everyone knows he’s great
By saying TL they are getting people talking which gets them retweets & clicks

Don’t be Dabo. Everyone is on Burrow’s dick. I have buddies who swear that Burrow sold his soul to the devil (one of them actually believes this... Bama fan, no surprise). Plus, I think Trevor’s ceiling may be higher, he’s 20 for Christ’s sake.. Doesn’t matter though. In the NFL they’ll both be so insanely good that it’s more about whether one of them wins the lottery and gets paired with the next Belichick. I don’t think Tom Brady is better than Aaron Rodgers or Peyton Manning. Those guys are all freaks.

Drew Brees was a second round pick. Burrow is about to go #1 overall with huge expectations.

What’s with all the feigning of disrespect going on in football this year? Give it a rest.

I don't give a damn what anyone says...Myles Brennan may have something to say about TL being automatically crowned the next Heisman winner a year ahead of time.
