The Weston Brand grinders are pretty good, and I think the 'meateater' code is still good for either 20% or 25% off. Can't remember what it is.

Been running a #8 Weston for a few years.
Cant see needing anything bigger for home use. It will eat deer as fast as you can feed it.

Using 3/4 LEM for over 10 years. No problems with it or any of the other LEM products - sausage stuffed and mixer. Highly recommend the foot controller if you plan to stuff any type of casings.

I got myself an lem.5 hp grinder for Christmas. It seems to have plenty azz for grinding a deer. As long as the pieces were cut small enough to fit in the mouth it went through very quickly. I made sausage by myself without the foot pedal mind you. For a couple a deer a year I think it will suffice.

Had bought one from Pro Bass around 15 years ago. It's a 1hp and comes with everything. It's a beast and it grinds up a few deer every year with no problems.

If you kill and process a lot of animals like our family does, nothing is more important than a good grinder. We used a kitchen aide for years and then found a Cabela’s carnivore #12 3/4 at BP catalog return center and the thing is a beast. The KA is a toy in comparison. I agree about the foot pedal but by the looks of wolfmans sausage, someone with skill doesn’t need it. Sausage making is addicting. Smokingmeats.com has a great forum for recipes and The Sausage Maker has great ready mixed spices. This is one of those cry once deals...like buying a good chainsaw.

Pretty much any 3/4-1 HP meat grinder will a home sausage maker make a couple hundred pounds of sausage a year or so. If you going to stuff your own sausage spend a little coin to get a nice stuffer, they work way better than a meat grinder to stuff.

I Use LEM #32 grinder, sausage Stuffer and meat mixer. You need to get on the email list for LEM and wait until they send you a 20% off coupon and then purchase what you need. It’s been great no problems at all had it for a couple of years so far.
