Everything else to me is moot. We do what we do on offense and keep TL from running on us, and this game is over quickly.

Disagree. Definitely another dynamic to look for, but I think the key is making ettiene irrelevant.

Other than his 67 yard run, he had 15 rushes for 40 yards. Containing Etienne is more important

He isn't Cam Newton

We need to not have our safeties get shook in the open field like hes Barry Sanders.

Etienne is the key to this game. Clemson has to eat clock to have any chance.

He has 514 yds rushing on the season. OSU lost containment and missed some tackles on his big runs against them.

Ask Jalen Hurts if we figured out how to contain mobile QBs.

Not worried.

Is he really that much of a running threat???

I know he had over 100 yards vs OSU, but isn’t that a fluke. He had one big run Accounting for most of those yards.

I don’t recall him being that much of a run threat otherwise. Maybe I’m wrong, I don’t watch Clemson games outside of the playoff but he seems more a traditional pocket passer than a runner.

Hurts is a better runner and well, you see how well he did.

TL will pick up some yards with his feet but I doubt you see a performance like the OSU game.

Got his two receivers, Etienne and Trevor can run and got Isaiah Simmons on defense is bout their whole team that plays. That bout it

Correct, my point is TL can make all the throws, so that makes his running more deadly. Hurts is horrific throwing the call

TL won't outrun our defense like he did tOSU. If he has to run, they're done for. Containing Etienne is much more important IMO.

All I care about is scoring more points than Clemson.

Nothing else matters!

Unless I'm crazy, this game should be wild.

I just don't see either defense stopping the opposition too much.

Peace.

I love all the confidence this board has because of the OU game . Do you realize Clemson and OSU would have hung 50+ on that D also . The scare Clemson got will have big benefits playing LSU. Also this extra time is huge for Clemson . Some of you people
Look silly posting LSU is going to do what they want to Clemson.

Mark it down , you LSU fans will have a increase in BP for about 4 hrs Jan 13th.

This game will be back and fourth a roller coaster. The big stage experience by our players and Coaches will prevail.

Agreed, although we did have a play that concerns me where Chaisson went inside spin when he was clearly alone in edge responsibility that allowed a decent run by Jalen. That's just as an instance because he has a tendency to use that move often, in today's offenses you cant get overly aggressive or lazy setting the edges. Hopefully it was addressed in film study as I expect they would and he will keep that in mind.

If that scenario doesn't come up I feel extremely confident in our run defense especially with the performance over the last month. They have held some very efficient running games under 100 yards.

You have to give us a break if we are excited and perhaps a bit overconfident. Our QB set a few records in the last game.

The defensive blueprint to beat Clem was shown by OSU.

Problem was, OSU did not execute SEVERAL times to ensure victory. Truth is OSU beat OSU.
