Do you prefer College football or the NFL?

To me college football is so much better. I have always gotten into the games more and cared. More than one loss and you're not making the CFP. In the NFL you can be 8-8 win your division and host a playoff game. Especially in Louisiana there are a lot of people who don't care about the saints and vise versa with LSU fans. So who do you care more about?

NFL if I had to choose.
I prefer to watch superior athletes. Still enjoy both.

College and it isn't close. NFL is a better product in terms of talent and coaching obviously (despite officiating) but college has so much more passion to me. It is pure nostalgia talking when I say this though and I admit that.
NFL has always felt sterile and boring to me. Saints games are awesome, but they are the exception, not the rule.
And while rampant transferring is starting in college, it is still mostly a lifelong commitment to play for only one team. In the pros, your best player can play for you division rival the following season.

College
As much as I love football, the NFL is becoming almost unwatchable.

Can you point to a particular situation that you felt was more enjoyable for you to see specifically because of this?

The refs and rule changes are truly making some games painful. To the point my household changes channels if something else good is on. I've never done that before these last 2 seasons.

The quality of football is far, far superior in the NFL, but I love college football so much more because of the pageantry. The actual football is inferior but the product is so much more fun.

Getting tired of the same few teams dominating college. Watching the GOATs lose this weekend in NFL was refreshing and a sign of things to come there. NFL for me these days.

Saints over LSU: key players are around more than 2-3 years
College over NFL: I think the game is just a better product

I think this gap is closing more and more. I am talking about the skilled position players on this. There are a lot of insane college players who play WR and RB that I think could compete in the NFL. That's just thinking about offense. I'm sure there are some crazy athletic DB's that could hang in the NFL as well.
Linemen are a different story due to their size and strength. Most of the gigantic linemen you see in college are still kids and somehow still growing

I rarely tune in to any games on Sunday.
Religiously watch college games during the week and on Saturdays.

I just love watching football so I watch both.
If I had to pick one I'd pick the NFL though because I have been watching it devoutly longer than I have been watching college football

There is nothing better than a crisp fall Saturday morning and turning on Gameday for a full day of college games
NFL is just something I put on after church
Rivalries, shite talking message boards, recruiting, all the drama.
College all day
