Praying for your son and your family.
I’m willing to bet he’s rocking it and protecting our asses while we waste time bickering about sports on a message board.

We haven't spoken to our adopted son in over a month despite countless attempts through different ways.
He is stationed on the docked USS GHWB Aircraft Carrier. Yet he is in intelligence.
He likely was moved to another ship in preparedness we assume.
Strange, I know multiple people stationed on that carrier and just spoke with one a little while ago.

Are they intelligence?
Not calling you out whatsoever.
He does this sometimes. He transferred from Fort Meade where he worked with naval intelligence against Russian interests alongside NSA before being transferred for his current duty once he reenlisted.
I do know from our talks his job is extremely important for protecting the sailors and monitoring all cyber activity etc before going into an area. They are bunkered right underneath the deck where the planes fly in also and there aren't many of the crew in that division. Extremely important but not numerous.
He speaks Russian well, and has a respect for his counterparts as do most Intel community he claims. They never wish for war but understand when they are called they are ready.
If you check my posts on adamant about not this being the war I wish to see. Iran isn't Iraq. Their interests are far desired in the region above them and it would be a shite show after we blasted them into oblivion like none other.
My only anger is that we decided to go there, as in targeting a respected general over a toy for tat play. I also would like to know why the Iranians truly are pushing militias to lob rockets at our bases since October. I don't buy the line of it being because of pulling our of the nuclear treaty. Something is afoot and he usually has a grasp when he was in Maryland of what was happening but I doubt it now in his current position.
The saddest part of it all is how Iraq has turned their back on us and has essentially divorced us after all these years. That is why I wasn't us out of there. They chose Iran. So be it. Iraq isn't worth taking back. Let them and Iran rot for all I'm concerned.

Ummm...the guy responsible for hundreds of American servicemen's deaths?? That "respected" general? That's your only anger? I don't get it.

Our nation has changed a lot in the last 20 years.
Yes it has. We apparently don't have the balls to take on evil anymore. We elect it to Congress.
Some things are worth fighting for. A world without evil men pursuing nuclear weapons so they can bring on their idea of Armageddon is one of them.

The major problem with us going to war is always the fricking chain immigration in the aftermath. The entire Iraqi army now lives in Gwinette county Georgia from the first gulf war....
Can you imagine how many jewelry stores would be opening up here in America after a war with Iran?

I hope so too. Like I have said in other posts, I have a son on the sharp point of the tip pf the spear. He makes regular rotations through the shittiest places we are in, I hope we don't add another one to the list.
On the other hand, Iran has done more against American interests than Iraq did. Iran also has some really dangerous actors. At least I trust President Trump to make the correct decision and allow the ROEs to not tie a hand behind our backs.

Don't think you have a clue, active duty warriors want a President like we have. I would go back on active duty to fight for President Trump because there will be NO BULLSHITE, we kill them done deal. No limits on who are where they are

Kind of weird sidenote... but unfortunately the Russians have surpassed us recently. Lookup "Russia hypersonic"

The only reason for troops on the ground in Iran would be to insure the destruction of their deep-underground uranium enrichment labs. We can destroy their infrastructure from the air.

Considering we just annhialated a senior Iranian official, I would say we are already at war with Iran.

Right, and now we escalated it past the proxy stage.
Support Trump or not, we can't pretend that didn't happen.
