Coming down from TN for game next week. Any suggestions on parking for game? Also staying in Fauberg/St John neighborhood. Any suggestions for restaurants near there? Thank you in advance and GEAUX TIGERS

Parkwhiz or spothero .. Google those two. Really good ones to be had for around 50-100.

Download Premium Parking app.
Or, park in Kenner and Uber in.

May want to think about a Taxi or Uber/Lyft so you don't have to worry about parking.

I would Uber close to the dome and walk.

You could park somewhere on St Charles and take the streetcar in.
It would be slow, but prolly cool.
If you went early enough, you could just pub crawl it up St Charles.

Assuming you are in good health, You are way too close to drive to game. Take the street car or short Uber. You could even rent a bike and ride Esplanade ave to the back of the French quarter and make your way to the game from there
Food
Parkway bakery or bevi seafood for poorboys
Liuzzas by the track for New Orleans comfort food
Blue oak for bbq
1000 figs - Mediterranean
Toups Meatery
Katie’s - vast menu , good for group
Bro stops for dessert

If you insist on driving, google the business “Grainger” at the corner of S galvez & poydras. Plenty of safe street parking there

I bought a pass on stubhub but be warned they don’t start until 5pm.

If you are near City Park, you can catch a Street Car there and take it into downtown and then walk. The pre-game atmosphere in the French Quarter is worth taking in before the game.

Take the street car
Those things are slow and crowded as F word during big games. In my experience at least.

Crescent City BBQ or The Joint. Elizabeth’s for Breakfast

Park on Earhart Blvd near Earhart & Claiborne. There are some stairs that go up and over the interstate there and you walk right up to the dome...right between Gate G and Gate A. It's super easy to get in and out of there. I always park here for the Saints games.

Nah, it’s not that bad coming from that area, esp on a Monday. I do it during the middle of Mardi Gras weekend even? It’s pretty accessible & comfortable

Bayou Beer Garden, Dooky Chase, Angelo Brocato, Mandina’s. Cafe Degas.
Uber/Lyft to game, then walk to FQ after game.

forgot to mention in the previous thread that i'm leaving b.r. at 3:30. does that change your recommendation to park at galvez/poydras?

I seriously doubt there is ANY of this to be found in NOLA. Specially for a out of state vechicle.
I've always found...You get what you pay for
