It’s just so selfish... he’s not an LSU or Clemson fan; why make things harder on the people who actually care about this game?

Sounds like you are pretty selfish as well.
Obviously I will never be president but I would be at every major sporting event if I could just hop on a jet and have first class treatment in a suite.

It’s just that you know he’s using it as a photo op for political purposes, and in the process making it more difficult for people who actually want to see the game.

the CFP National Championship he attended in Atlanta was a huge cluster. Almost half the stadium missed kickoff.

This is more because MBS is run by people from Atlanta than Trump being there.

He’s going to win Louisiana in a landslide. I’m not saying you are wrong but it didn’t work out well for the governors race. I have no idea how South Carolina leans to be honest. It really wasn’t that bad for the Alabama game. I think it’s pretty cool to see the president of the United States in person.

A LONG wait. But it didn't matter because it was expected. Be ready to go in 1 hour early.

the bama fans were complaining. tsa was looking through wallets, emptying purses, emptying pockets. it was thorough. took quite a while. ms state was almost as bad. lsu has no security compared to those two.

bama was definitely worse for us than atl.

It was bad but I got in early.

Was in Stadium 2.5 hours before game. It was a nightmare.

Atlanta was ridiculous last week. No extra checks but the log jam to get through the detector at the gate was like 200 people deep and however many wide over an hour before kick.

Well hopefully they will begin admissions a bit earlier so be prepared to get there earlier than usual and drink in the line as you wait.

Maybe you can generate a couple extra bags of urine to throw at the Clemson fans as you wait. (Joking guys dont get excited... I know you always save them until inside!)

I went to BAMA game. Approaching the stadium was very crowded and took a while to navigate through crowd to get to our gate. For us it was about a 30 minute wait to get in. Walked through metal detector and pat down.

I do think other gates, probably selected at random, had it much worse. I know some people who waited 90 minutes to get into the stadium.

Overall it sucked and definitely took away from the Gameday experience.

At Bama on Nov 9, your wait and the process depended on whether you entered on the side the POTUS sat on or not. Our fans that sat in the 2 upper end zones probably got in more quickly than our fans who sat in the lower bowl near on pep band.

If a president just wanted to go to the game and not make a spectacle there would be no announcement, a quiet entrance, and thus less need for stringent security
