Maybe a stop gap F-linebacker?

How many years would he have left to play? Obviously he’s got some tools to work with and if he could RS here or progress in a short time as far as strength and conditioning goes he may be a real nightmare rusher for us.
Marcel Brooks has proved that you don’t have to be 260-270 to be a force rushing the QB. I’d like a player who can play all downs, stop the run, rush the QB and plug lanes or keep the QB contained when needed. LSU could use more of these.
I’d like to see the day where LSU has a guy that can play all downs and we have a rusher or two who can provide help on the other side so the opposition has multiple players to deal with. Not sure why we don’t use Chassion and Brooks more together on the field? We need a more balanced Defensive front. Guys who are big and powerful but could also pass rush when needed.

Good I think he could be a good replacement for Burch here at LSU. If he can play around 250 or so then he could be a force in there on the DL or he can play as a rush LB for LSU. Can never have too many of these imo.

Looks like he's a grad transfer with 1 year of eligibility remaining.
Many have said we can't take a grad transfer until the summer. Would he wait that long?

This is a no brainer if Chaisson announces for NFL, we dont have anyone close to ready to replace him.
