The lawlessness is out of control in New Orleans. They don’t have a mayor that will back the police so the thugs run around doing whatever they like. Until people start taking care of these types of things on their own, it will just continue.

The guy who owns Merchant here in BR (and Juniors on NO) lives in Lakeview had this happen recently and said on social media it happens nearly every day to people in the area.

They busted the window in my buddies truck 3 times in 4 weeks. He caught them in camera. Grown man with gun in hand did it. They are going to kill someone if they haven't already.

Exactly. This isn't an isolated incident. Harahan had it happen on Christmas Eve and the HPD said it was a group that was smashing windows trying to steal stuff. They chased them out of Harahan but they managed to get away when it became a high speed chase heading into Orleans parish.
