They didn’t look too impressive against Ohio State last night and we’re going to let them score at the end if that WR didn’t run the wrong route.

My opinion:

Their defense is less talented than almost every top tier team LSU has played!!! I think they compare to Bama's defense without the quality edge rushers, but with a better scheme. Bama wasn't good defensively this year.

#11 for Clemson is a stud playing that hybrid safety/OLB position and their CBs can play sticky, but their DL, LBs and safeties just don't seem to have good mobility. I'm not saying they're slow, but they don't change directions well!!! Ohio State's passing game missed so many opportunities, and Dobbins didn't look healthy in the second half like he did in the first when he broke off a couple big runs.

LSU will score a lot on them if Burrow and the offense plays the way they've played all year. I think a healthy CEH and Burrow's ability to read and run will exploit that defensive scheme of A-gap LB pressure and twist stunts. Clemson will get some sacks and TFL, but they will be exposed and give up chunk yardage. They can't cover the middle of the field against this offense, and that's what Burrow has attacked all year against aggressive defenses. It will get ugly if Clemson can't keep up!

Clemson’s def stats are built on the backs of UNC, NC State, Duke, WF, etc. Big whoop

Auburn is the best defense we will play this year. But, it honestly doesn’t matter. Don’t think this offense is defendable.

Clemson is going to be very tough. On par with that game we won at Bama with tua playing. They have a nasty pass rush which would be thing number 1 you want when you play LSU.

LSU's offense will be the best Clemson has played. By a LOT.

If this were in season i'd say no way. But these guys can coach and given 16 days it will be one of the best...

... But we still hang 50, capping the best offensive year in ncaa history. Herbie even said it last night late: Best offense he's ever seen, and it's not even close.

Yes. Absolutley. You guys are kidding yourselves if you think or say otherwise. That said, they won't hold us under 45. Our execution is on a level the likes of which they've never seen anything remotely close to

They’ll be a lot like Florida, but I thought Auburn and Georgia were the best defenses we’ve seen. We shredded Florida tho and e’rbody else too. Clemson’s problem is that they’re a two dimensional running team and that’s not going to keep up.

Heck No! They have too many white boys on defense! They won’t be able to keep up with our skill players.

How many times this season have we heard 'best defense' we will face -and yet, the results are all the same- No one has been able to slow down our offense!!

No. All three have better defenses.

When Ohio State started out, I thought Clemson’s D was a step behind. A good unit but lacking star players. They have to play together to make it work. IMO Auburn was the best defense that we played with a close second to Georgia.

Venables is a great defensive coordinator with not as much talent as some teams we have faced. They will have the best overall coaching staff we have faced.

I do not see Clemson having ANY answers for the LSU offense. None.
