Could questions:
State/City/Dealer
Did you order the car or buy it off the lot?
The 2,500 off sticker, did that waive the rebate they had going on? I know they had some incentive to trade in a car (get ~$1k) + finance through them get another 1,500 off or negotiated?
Did you pay in cash?

Huh. Wife got hers 3k below MSRP but shopped TN down to FL. Only found two dealerships (one in Bristol TN and one in Savanna) willing to deal a little.
Got a Black S
ETA 1k of that was rebate
Also, let’s not kid ourselves. It’s a smaller awd minivan. But she’s happy

No dealer is offering discounts on the vehicle. You will be lucky to get a price at MSRP more than likely you will be paying an additional 3-8k in dealer add ons. So if you find one for msrp I would jump on it

Google Automatch Consulting and have Tom
McParland from Jalopnik get it for you.
I just got (on Monday) a very specific truck that there were only 80 of in the US- I couldn’t get anyone to budge- a dealer in Michigan had a deal, but made it impossible to qualify for it (left handed, GM owner, never owned Ford, have blonde hair, etc.)
Tom rolls in and gets a dealer in Dallas to sell it $8k below sticker. Dealership sent a notary to my office, Fed Exd paperwork back, truck showed up 4 days later at my house.

Girlfriend got one a few weeks back. Love the car very roomy and a good look. Had to drive two hours to find one close to us and didn’t get any discounts

Everyone on the OT is rich but still needs a discount to buy a Kia

I'm the service manager at the Kia/Hyundai dealer in Jackson. We're selling ours for MSRP

Maybe it’s just me, but could never spend this time of cash on a car without driving it first.

I hate car dealers. Only business where 2 guys could walk in buy the exact same thing and pay different over haggling.

But the ot loves to overpay.

Do yourself a favor and test drive one before just ordering one. Did that a couple weeks ago and was disappointed in the way it drove and the cheapness of some of the interior buttons and knobs. Felt like they would break or fall off in my hand. Ride was good but not great compared to other suvs in its class.

A friend of mine owns a Kia dealership. They can't keep them on the lot...so NO, you're not going to find a discounted one anywhere. They have no need to discount. On top of that I'd be prepared to pay an extra $3.50K for "special" undercoating.
