I love them with crackers.
I love to eat them right out the can.
I love them with peppers, mustard, hot sauce, or just plain.
King Oscar are my favorite, but I often go with Brunswick if Kings aren't on sale.
I try to eat at least 3 to 4 cans a week.
What a great food!

King Oscar packs a good sardine. But I prefer Bela Smoked Lemon Sardines.
Give them a try.
Give them a try.

That's a great complement coming from you, but to be honest its almost impossible to not be enthusiastic when talking about sardines.

2.5" to 3" long
They are choice! A little strong by themselves but great when placed atop pan de cristal con tomate.

Buy / make pizza dough
Shape it into circle
Top with sardines, sliced onion, EVOO & fresh grated Parmesan cheese
It was prob back in the early 90’s I went with my grandma into Little Caesar’s where she asked to buy a ball of dough
The guy asked for what, she said sardine pie
He gave it to her
My Grandpa is 93 & loves them

Sardines are probably the best food a person could eat as far as health goes.
You get all of the EPA and DHA with out the heavy metal build up seen in apex predators.
I had started a thing where that’s all I was eating for lunch everyday but it got old. I’m going to give it another shot.

I’ve had something similar. Good stuff. Warm them and pour over pasta with your same ingredients, onions, Parmesan and use the oil they are packed in.
Tony’s had fresh the other day. Those are really good grilled then a bit of lemon, sea salt and drizzle olive oil OT a nice pico de galo

They're not bad. Worst part is working around the spine.

I admire you for admitting this. Once every few years I crave them but like you, I too have a go to whitetrash food and it's......
Spam. I don't eat it often but when I want it, I have to have it. Sliced bacon thin and fried. Mmmmmmmm.
