Always find out about a divorcee's past.

Met a divorcee through an acquaintance of mine a couple of months ago while I was doing some early xmas shopping. A pretty chick, nice body, not no OT 10 mind you, but good enough for me. The relationship was more on the casual side for about a month and then she turned kind of serious. I never really asked her anything about her past sexual experiences or about her failed marriage, because I figured that if she wanted a more serious relationship, she'd be upfront about everything and I wouldn't have to ask her anything. That really never happened, so I tried to coax her into telling me by opening up about my past one night when we got a little drunk right after Thanksgiving. I got a little bit of info out of her, but I knew she was hiding more especially about her failed marriage.

Last week, I went down to the Clerk of Court office and looked up her divorce and what I found opened my eyes as to why she wouldn't say anything about her ex. Her ex filed for the divorce on the grounds of abandonment and adultery. When I confronted her about it later that day, she became very upset, started yelling at me, that I had no right to do such a thing. She left my apartment in a fury, I haven't heard or seen her since. Was a little hurt about it at first, but I'm glad I did what I had to do.
