Athens County Santa Tree
Someone asked for a Santa Tree for the kids. Deadlines for specific gifts has passed but you can still donate to Amazon wishlist or a cash donation for those still looking to help more.

Kinda cool. But there are places here in Louisiana with the same small town issues.
Would like to see all.louisisna people who donated, match their donations to a Louisiana area with the same problems
actually, no one should downvote this.
We should have an ANNUAL TD FUND DRIVE FOR LOUISIANA
...involve Corporations too and divide into needed food orgs
maybe the overage over $200K should go to a Louisiana food bank...yes I know, can not change donee's name.

And some of us have. I used the LSU Food Pantry Amazon link and sent them food from their Amazon wishlist. Nothing is stopping you from donating in Louisiana as well.
Here is the LSU Food Pantry

every dime so going to a rural food bank, they needs to raise what they can when they can.

They say it’s .50 a meal so at $175,000 that’s 350,000 meals. They say they serve about 3,400 meals a week from that pantry so they’re now covered for about 2 years without another dime donated.

quote:Wade Phillips, I understand what you're saying. There is a better way to say it. I donated to the Athens Food Pantry and doubled my donation to the Northshore Food Bank. I challenge you to do the same.
Glad that there aren't any hungry people in Louisiana and we can focus on causes like this.
Northshore Food Bank
To the rest of the Tiger Rant Family, if you can spare the money, please consider matching your donation to your local food bank.

Wow, at $180K. Do you believe in miracles? They do!

Averaging $261.27 per minute from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. That's intense.

Donated. I wished someone from LSU had started this drive.

I know this was never the intent by anyone, but it would be cool if this made national news... if it hasn't already.
