I keep hearing about the Ohio State QB room

with Braxton Miller, JT Barrett, Cardale Jones and Joe Burrow.
So one Heisman winner/future NFL #1 pick and the rest pretty forgettable footnotes? Cool.

They are/were all good college QB's and it's a cool story about how all 4 were on the same team at the same time. Nothing to get upset about

I mean, the rest were good college QBs, let's not discount that
You're probably missing Haskins as well

Barrett was a helluva college qb
Barrett accumulated more than 25 Ohio State records including most total yards in a season (3,851) and most touchdowns in a season (47) as well as most career passing yards (9,434) and completions (769). Additionally, he has several Big Ten Conference records including most career passing touchdowns (104) and total touchdowns (147). He also passed Drew Brees for most career offensive yards, with 12,697.

Lost in all this Ohio State talk about how but Ed O and Steve E saw a career third/second string QB as a unique talent when all others really could not. He really only had two choices. Reminds me so much of the Brees had two choices Miami and the Saints. He chose the road less traveled like Brees and it has payed off. I cannot believe that Joe looked better than Miles at the beginning of last year. During the Miami game, Joe was not better than Miles, but he has developed so much in 2 years because of the LSU system.
Urban Meyers like to take credit for it but without a doubt Joe Burrow is a product of the LSU system, not the Ohio State system. Burrow is the QB he is today because of his hard work, the coaching and players at LSU, not Ohio State.

Why did you start this thread? You really want me to pull your pants down in front of everyone? Cardale is a national champion. JT Barrett had over 50 TDS in a season. I think Braxton did too.
We have a great season with our Best QB ever why you feel the need to try and start a duck measuring contest with Ohio State I don’t know.

So every quarterback and every running back that played at LSU not named Billy Cannon is just a footnote?
Posted on 12/13/19 at 1:15 pm to Desert King
i mean it’s kind of unheard of that a 3rd string QB comes in and balls tf out and wins a championship. that was crazy

Forgettable footnotes to people who casually follow the sport, maybe?
Those names are all pretty ingrained into college football history for the foreseeable future.

JT Barrett never had 50 TDs in a season - neither did Braxton Miller. And JTs best completion percentage was 64.7, Miller's best was 63.5% (as a starter - in one season he was 1 for 1))

Barrett's best passing season (2017) was 3053 yards, 64.7%, 35 TDs 9 ints.

What’s your point?

That’s because of the timing of the transfer and teams with scholarships to give.

You can stop pretending to be an Ohio State fan Ree. We all know it’s you

Buckeye Jeaux will probably back next year to criticize Myles Brennan any time we praise him, just so we don’t forget that there will never be a QB as good as Joe.
