So Clemson apparently doesn’t allow current commits to visit other schools... Do other schools have similar policies? I would think that would be a hurtful policy, but obviously not.

You can do that when you’re sitting on top and kids are begging to get in. I guarantee Dabo didn’t do that on his climb to the top.

When your committed to a school you should stop any other visits in my opinion, if your not sure and want to visit other schools then WTF are you doing giving your pledge. I think in the last few years this is getting out of hand with these kids I don’t blame Clemson one bit for doing that.

I believe Oklahoma has a lesser version of that policy, but I don't think it is quite as extreme

I agree with all y’all. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong. I was just thinking you would lose some recruits for a policy like that. But recruiting 17-18 year olds is far from a science, especially these days.

It seems like it would make more sense to tell the commit that should they continue looking, we will too.

I was about to say

5 CFP appearances in a row. Maybe they are on to something.

Agreed. As long as kids are beating down the door to come to your program, I think it's all good to do whatever you want.

we should institute this, if you are committed why are you visiting other school to begin with?

Legit rule by Clemson.

Has far more to do with the path of least resistance than it does with this policy that Dabo “has”.

Dabo is trying to restore meaning to the word COMMITMENT. The recruit can look around all he likes BEFORE committing to Clemson, or decommit anytime and start shopping around again if they are truly unsure. So I’m not sure why you would think this is hurtful.

We aren't Clemson yet. After we win 2 championships, we will have our pick of anyone.
