Recruits know and after watching Coach O handle business on and off the field what’s not to love. Sure he sounds a little funny but that man cares for his players and wants what’s best for them. Their families know it too. Little Nicky at Bama is on his way down

You have the distance factor at play here too. While both schools are out of state, Tuscaloosa is a lot closer to his home. I'm sure they are playing that angle hard.
