I don't think you know what that term means, as evidenced by the fact you're defending an authoritarian statist who wants to place the burden of proof on the accused and doesn't believe in the right of the accused to face his accuser.

Sure about that?

I seem to remember a list presented by Devin Nunes that was poo pooed by a certain bug eyed clown.

I guess I also missed the minority hearing day in the Judiciary Committee. Maybe you can provide a link to it.

He can request anyone not testify. They can take it to the courts and test the legality of the situation. But that doesn't fit the timeline for certain folks.

refused to respond to subpoenas for evidence

Take it to the courts then. They exist for the reason. Wonder why he hasn't been compelled to testify?

The AA vote is the total wild card. I agree with your assessment. The sheer scale of the absentee ballot cheating in those two states is crazy though. Go back and look at the Orange country district vote totals over the last few elections. It will make your skin crawl. Also look at the district Katie Hill, she of throuple Fame. Only reason they'll win anything in those two states in 2020

Some have already been in the court system. Don Mcgahn for one. But the Dems said nah, we'll just issue our own ruling that trumps any other co-equal branch of government.

The minority hearing day isn't about Trump calling witnesses. That's not how it works. It's the Republicans in the House that are entitled and conduct that process, not the President. That comes at the Senate trial.

But of course Dems denied the minority hearing day. No two ways about it.

Even if it gets to the Senate, they're not guaranteed that it'll even go to trial. Roberts may smack it down right out of the gate since the approved House rules weren't followed.

Then there's the LOLtastic issue of Sleepy Joe saying he's not going to comply with a Senate subpoena for an IMPEACHMENT TRIAL.

Dude was President of the Senate for 8 years and he doesn't understand how that half works?

It's not his job to prove his innocence, but your job to prove his guilt. That's the way things work in the United States.

Spooks gonna spook, man. She knows what the rules are, but like her handlers, she voluntarily chooses to run roughshod over them.

I can't fathom what the Escobar lady was saying a short while ago. I believe she was using as an example a governor, going on to say that if a governor insisted that he/she was going to "defy subpoenas" then changed the wording to "I'm going to fight the subpoenas" that "the governor would go to jail". That's one of the most outrageously either dishonest or badly, badly uneducated things I've ever heard within a discussion of legal principles.

She couldn't be more wrong if she tried. There's a motion that's filed quite often for the purpose of "fighting" a subpoena that one has received. It's a Motion to Quash the subpoena and it rather common. It defies belief what these people are willing to say.
