She killed 25,000 jobs in working class Long Island (which needed the jobs more), but now claims credit for 1,500 jobs created in wealthy Manhattan? Seems a bit ironic for a champion-of-the-masses-Democrat.

Interesting that by building where they are building they are eligible to substantial tax breaks...

They never were "on the hook". It was to be a tax reduction not a cash payment.

Because she's politically savvy and understands that the vast majority of voters in her district will think she did something good.

Because Dim math says 1,500>25,000. She should be embarrassed.

i always enjoy it when people conflate tax breaks with giving away money. or thinking a corporation didn't pay taxes.

makes it easy to identify who to ignore on certain issues.

if hillary clinton started an actual company and figures out how to get out of paying taxes, i genuinely applaud her and am happy for her.

Corporate welfare! REEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

It makes more sense when you realize folks like that view your money as the government's first, and yours second.

Long Island City isn't in Long Island. And was the 25,000 jobs number actually real, or an upper-level estimate from Amazon?
