This will be far and away the best offense we have faced.

Definitely not a cake walk like most here are predicting.

I understand that our team is looking forward to the opportunity to go 1-0 on December 28, and that they are willing to play anyone, anywhere at anytime.

ETA: Are you suggesting OU's offense is "far and away" better than Alabama?

I find that laughable.

Hell, it isn't "far and away" better than Texas.

I never said OU had a bad O. I respect it as a very good O. But, "far and away" the best LSU will have played is ridiculous.

Absolutely not. Statistically, they are very similar and I think skill-wise they are also very similar. That said, with Mac running the show, I think OU's offense is a level above Bama.

The early portion of OU's schedule had them playing teams ranked in the 100s in Total Defense. At the end of the schedule when they played better defenses their scores were much closer.

LSU on the other hand has constantly blown out teams regardless of defensive ranking with the only exception being Auburn.

OU is no where the best offense we have played this year and they are the 5th best team we have seen.

I don't like the match up at all. I think we win but it sure as hell won't be free.

Sooo...you quoted me saying that suggesting that OU offense is "far and away" best we (sic) will have faced is incorrect by a LOT....and said "Dear God. You are awful"

THEN, when asked if you are saying it is "far and away better" than Bama...you say "Absolutely not"

So, are we BOTH awful, Dear God?

We are going to light OU up. This game won't be close and yet another embarrassing loss for Oklahoma in big boy games.

The second post said that OU would be far and away the best offense that LSU will have played. You responded by saying that he was "incorrect by A LOT", suggesting (in my opinion) that there was some team that LSU played that was A LOT better than the OU offense. That was what made me say you were awful.

Reading some of your follow up posts, it looks like my interpretation of your post was wrong. We agree that the OU offense is good and that it isn't much (if any) better than Alabama's.

My bad, man.

All good. I have respect for the OU program and this year’s team.

I guess you could make an argument that the Alabama offense is better than OU's offense, but I don't think you'll find much support for the cause outside of this message board right now and Tuscaloosa.
