OU is no joke. We can score on them, but they will score on anyone they play.
no they won’t. This isn’t the offenses of Mayfield and Murray. If you can matchup CD and force Hurts to best you, he will struggle. Baylor controlled the line on them defensively all day.

OU has a smidge if defense. But not anything daunting

For me, the issue is fairness. I truly believe this team plows thru whoever they play.

CFB has been mostly fair over the years. I hate to see a group or “committee” have so much power over teams.

Look at the committee members & it’s laughable. Their credentials for ranking CFB leaves me thinking WTF?

They scored 34 on the same Texas team that we dropped 45 on. They jist squeaked out an OT win against Baylor and only scored 23 in regulation. They scored 28 against mighty TCU. They lost to KState. They are not great. They certainly arent Clemson.

This is the last time I'll go over this ...

Lsu deserves to play the weakest team based on the resume . Period

If we want the college game to remain great they need to encourage teams to schedule quality OOC games . Like Texas vs Cincinnati.

is it?

Playing a QB that has played in each of the last 3 playoffs is easy?
He didn't say easy, read it again.

And tell us more about the other QB we'd play if we were #2...

You have to play them eventually. Why does it matter when you play them
You don't have to play both of them, this isn't rocket science.

Yep

Does that mean that he is not really good?

How quickly we forget what a Jalen Hurts lead team did to LSU in Baton Rouge very recently
Lawrence is better than Hurts.

The Clemson D is wayyyyyy better than the Oklahoma D.

Again, not rocket science.

Who would you rather play first Clemson or Oklahoma? The #2 team would likely have to play Clemson then LSU/OSU to win the Natty.

Also, didn't he have to transfer because someone beat him out?
So if he transferred, he not a good QB?

Justin thinks that's a dumb argument.

This guy thinks that's a dumb argument.

So does the Heisman committee.

I don't. I wanted an SEC championship, playoff berth and a Heisman. Anything else is gravy

This all the more reason to play Oklahoma. We need to “slay this demon” just as we needed to beat Alabama (vs say, backing into a playoff spot or SEC Championship game by virtue of a tiebreaker scenario)

We need to put a smack down on a J. Hurts as we owe him some payback too!!!
