The problem won’t be that these powers exist. It’s that the user of said powers will have had literally no training in them.
Hint: If the movie takes place at least a year after TLJ, that won’t be a problem either. There is plenty of time in a year’s gap for Rey to learn those things.

Per leaks, they use the dagger to find Palpatene.
Yes, they find an old sith dagger on a dead sith assassin and use it to find the emperor
