He will do very well next year.

LSU is in the best shape it’s been in for a number of years. Let’s enjoy this ride.

I doubt it. I bet he has a good year and throws for 68% 3,800 yards 33 TDs and 12 interceptions, and leads us to a 10-3 record and a NY 6 game. AND I bet he is booed and disparaged on the rant, which will be pregnant with conspiracies of Ensminger calling the plays and Orgeron handcuffing Brady because he’s jealous.

I think he'll do really good next year.

Expecting him to duplicate what Burrow has done this year would be completely unfair to everyone.

If he throws for that many yards and TDs we will be a lot better than 10-3

Brennan had a front row seat watching Burrow’s development into an NFL caliber QB.

Hopefully, he took notes & seeks out the exact same mentors Burrow worked with in the off season.

Brennan has the same potential. He’s gotta go to work in the off season.

He could have one of the best seasons in LSU history and not come within a thousand miles of what Burrow did this year.

That’s not a knock on Brennan, just incredible how good Burrow has been

I expect him to do very well but idiots on here will compare him to Joe and be screaming for the backup.

Maybe. Joe is a transformational once in 25/30 year player that comes along, and they don't grow on trees. Brennan will be under a lot of pressure to live up to unrealistic expectations.

Let's calm down, please.

I think he will have a good year and I think he'll progress in his 2nd year and light it up.

I was hoping for a lot more playing time for him this year.

I agree that Brennan is going to be good. But we need to be careful setting expectations. Burrow is the best QB LSU has ever had. Let that sink in. He is a once-in-a-generation talent. It's almost inevitable that there will be some amount of drop off between him and Brennan. We can't set the expectations at Burrow 2.0 or else we're going to be disappointed.

Dude, I think you're holding back. You need to let it all out and be yourself on this board.

If he plays as well as Joe played last season, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The good thing for Brennan is I think our run game will be even better next year with Davis-Price, Emery, and Evans. Teams will have to respect the run even more (no disrespect to CEH he’s one of my favorite tigers ever) and that’ll help open things up for Myles even more.

He’s gonna be a gun slinger for us. He won’t be as accurate on intermediate throws and he will probably make more mistakes than Joe has, but we will be equally as explosive in my eyes. Maybe just not quite as efficient. Which is ok. Lots of deep balls and explosive runs next year

Gonna be fun as hell to watch. As one of the previous posters stated... were set at QB for a while. We’re gonna get Caleb Williams to take over for Brennan in a few years as well.

The era of LSU is upon us

So you’re saying he comes in his first year starting and will be 2nd all time at LSU in single season yards and single season TDs thrown? Yeah, I’ll take that.
