Money will not be the deciding issue. Would you hitch your future to a coach who appears to be on the hot seat v. making the same money and having less pressures with the opportunity to actually learn the job of an OC? He has less than one year as a college position coach, with some grad assistant experience and as a staffer for a short stint with a pro team. He is obviously talented and has a bright future, but if he goes to Texas and things don’t go well, he gets canned, the shine is gone, even if not his fault.
Better to develop in the kind of situation he has at LSU. He has no need to rush and will be a wealthy young man while biding his time.

I remember when the Rant said this about Aranda and this year they wanted him fired. We will be fine.

Take some of Aranda’s money and give it to Brady.

Do you sincerely believe that all of a sudden LSU has a historically good offense and that it'll be business as usual when the architect leaves

Are you telling me it is completely impossible for Ensminger to have learned some of Brady's offense throughout the duration of this season? That is the only point I'm trying to make.

Every year the Rant panics about someone possibly leaving.

I think if we were to lose Brady, E would do a fine job implementing the offense with new players and of course calling plays.

I would be concerned with our receiver coaching because Brady has made these talented receivers into next level play makers and I feel it doesn't get talked about as much as it should.

Texas fans are so funny lol. They talk like they can just steal Joe Brady away from us because they are Texas and “Texas money” blah blah blah. LSU has a far better roster and Brady would have full control of the offense. Much better situation then Texas where Weirdo Tom Herman would be breathing down his neck. Just pay him ASAP and shut this bs talk down

That, and we will look better than 99% of the offers he gets.

What about CSE??

What about him? It's a business. At some point, Ed will have to move on from Steve.

Are going to pay him one dollar more??

Come on...you can't really be asking that question, can you?

If Brady does leave, it will be in Burrows wake directly to Cincy. Cincy has the need and horsepower to throw zillions at Brady. Sean McVay has already shown you don't need 20 years' experience to have an impact.

In a practical sense that E can run this offense without him? Yes.

They tried that already. They went to Saints and Rams camps in 2018, tried to implement some of their concepts, and it didn't work. That's why they got Brady, someone who grew up in this business running what they want to run. Why do you want to go back to what we know doesn't work?

First let me say I sure as hell hope he stays. BUT there are a couple things that intrigues me. 1. There was talks of Joe and Caleb Williams hanging out after the game. He is from Texas, Texas OC job? Not his end game though. 2. Dallas is struggling pretty bad this year, end game Dallas HC job? I know this will get downvoted but just some big picture thoughts from an outsider.

end of the day, firing two coordinators when you are on your way to a bowl game and before the early signing period is signs of a complete meltdown inside the 40 Acres.

Arky- yeah. What do they have to lose.

Texas- bowl game and #7 recruiting class on the line? No.

If you've ever seen college program & coaches up close this reeks of one thing: The coaches unleashed on Herman and he melted. Otherwise you don't risk that. This is a complete split and fight between the coaches at UT. This is about Herman's ego and his inability to manage people. It won't be long before those 4 fired start getting the word out. Just watch.
