They believe with all of their resources, in state talent, and expensive coaches, they should be winning 10+ games every year. They've had one season in the last 20 years that they didn't lose at least 3 games. Delusion at it's finest.

I think they really thought they'd put up more of a fight. Instead they rolled over completely and their "elite" coach had them totally unprepared.
But for a busted coverage, that game last night is 50-0.

With LSU, Alabama, Fla, Georgia, and Auburn in SEC and competing with Texas, Baylor, and TCU in recruiting Jimbo will never sniff the playoffs as a coach at A&M.

I cant disagree. Same for Texas. Both have the resources to be elite. Both have underachieved.

Well, we'll know for sure next week, but I think they overestimated the superiority of UGA and it all came crashing down last night. Not only were hopes and assumptions of 'progress' dashed, their delusions was slashed. And that's something they can't handle.
So in their minds they have two choices:
- admit their delusions and the reality of the situation
- melt and dig in deeper to those delusions and start looking for excuses
Fanbase chose the latter; I bet you money most of that TAMU staff is too.
