Which is the most dangerous, the hood or backwoods area with meth trailers and shacks?

Which would you feel more comfortable driving slowly or walking through? Greatest likelihood to get shot? Any close encounter stories?

Backwoods people for the most part mind their own business
The reason its dangerous to go through the hood is that they are more territorial there and also view people as potential targets

Backwoods trailer park meth heads out in the boonies will definitely shoot your arse.
In the hood, you’ll more than likely just get mugged or sold baking soda or oregano.

Are we just talking about a generic hillbilly trailer park, that’s one thing. You’ll probably be pretty safe. Lots of working class folk.
If we are talking about a meth compound...yeah, frick a tweaker.
Now the hood...before about 2 you’ll be fine. Mostly just poor working class. I’m in the hood hood every day. Don’t frick with anyone and they don’t frick with you, generally. The closer towards dark it gets and the more the ne’er-do-Wells wake up and get to drinking on the porches...might want to be more alert. Don’t make yourself an easy mark.

I'm a white dude married to a black woman. We would draw unwanted attention in both environments so neither place is really safe for us.

I live in the worst neighborhood in my town. Been here almost 2 years. Mostly a white town.
I have yet to have any real problems besides picking up trash in my yard every day from street walkers.
Spotted a guy rummaging through a car that I'm going to junk but him hearing me rack my .40 in my underwear has kept him at bay since.
Eta....I have a 36'trailer and a 21' boat parked on my 2nd lot and I have a 16' boat under my carport. No one has fricked with any of it and that's been my biggest concern.

The only reason I would choose good is because of the police presence. A lot of these parishes only have a few sherriffs cars at night. It may take them for ever to get to you.
