Steam Sale - what have you bought?

Bought some DLC packs for Hearts of Iron IV that I didn’t have, but that’s about it.
For years I’ve found these sales lacking since flash deals, daily deals, and community choice went away. Not as fun as it used to be.

That’s the other thing. Most games that I really want (Sekiro, Resident Evil 2, etc), I just buy on launch, so when they go on sale for a great price, I’m not excited because I already have it.

Steam Sales just aren't the same without Flash Sales.
We did get Refunds from the death of Flash Sales.
Edt: idk why they just couldlnt make items purchased in a Flash Sale non-refundable.

Put a cooldown on purchasing a game again after you've refunded it, typically long enough to last through the sale period.
Flash sales had me checking Steam every few hours. Now I get what I want within 5 minutes and that is it.

Yep, I "shopped" the store more often.
Also forced me into purchases I would not normally make, for better or worse.
I've never looked into it but some silly legality must be behind the decision.

Nothing I really want on Steam, but I'm tempted to get The Outer Worlds, Red Dead 2, & The Sinking City on Epic. But, I really don't want to invest into another damn launcher.

No, it really is that bad.
I have a lot of "Update" issues with games on certain chipsets. What is really annoying is always being signed out of the launcher.
That launcher is a mess.
