Also a dominant Heisman QB running an up tempo offense. It can be done and IMO The Burrow will get it done this year. I also expect that the defense will play better down the stretch.

Aranda has got to coach them up better for assignment defense. The excuses of the offense scoring too fast are ridiculous. The defense was awesome when LSU was going three and out all the time.

I believe the D will play much better going forward. Here are my reasons:

They will be better motivated. They have had the luxury of an O, that takes over the game. A lot of the letdowns have occurred after the O has a comfortable lead. Now, they are being ridiculed, and that should generate emotion.

We are now headed into a championship stretch. The D will feel the need to contribute more. We have had some terrific goal line and fourth down stands, which shows me that we can do it. Hopefully, leaders on D can generate focus and consistent intensity.
