Ernie Ladd is from Franklin La. He went to grambling and then played for the Chiefs and chargers in the old AFL. He was in the SB winning KC team back in the 69 season that was won in New Orleans over the Vikings. He then went into wrestling and lived in Franklin his whole life. I met him before. He was huge. But could hardly walk at that time and that was in the late 80's.

I’d have to say JYD or Earnie Ladd.
Fun fact—Johnny Grunge was actually from Sulphur, LA, not Philly.
Aren’t Willy Mack and Jazz from Lafayette?

You mean Rodney Mack. He's JYD's nephew. Pretty sure him and Jazz still live in Carencro.

Yeah, Rodney Mack—famous for the “whiteboy challenge”
