PRAIRIEVILLE, La. (WAFB) - A Prairieville man is facing multiple drug charges after a joint investigation by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office and Baton Rouge Police Department.
Sheriff Bobby Webre said deputies with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyrode Brown, 27, on Nov. 20 after deputies started investigating a tip that package containing 21 pounds of marijuana was being sent to a storage facility in Prairieville.

It seems like BR drug busts are always in Denham or one of the other suburbs. Why?

29 lbs is a big bust considering it was a "joint investigation."

It’s a lot easier to hide stuff in a secluded neighborhood in the outer suburbs than to put stuff into the inner city.

Fewer eyes in the area and it allows you to break down shipments into smaller ones to be put into specific areas.

because if they dont, BR police will steal the drugs and rob them and then sell the drugs themselves through protected drug dealers

It is in the suburbs because that is where the money is....and bored housewives...you would be surprised what happens in the more affluent suburban neighborhoods between 8 am and 4pm M-F
