Can we keep up a board or something to keep track of all the good Black Friday and Christmas sales for outdoor equipment, so that we can buy those much-needed Christmas presents for ourselves or instruct our significant others on what to get and still save some money. Chicken could probably make some money off keeping a board up like that year round with retailers giving us early sale info etc.

Scent lok. Free shipping over 100 bucks 50% off a lot of stuff. Those glove liners are great, and almost gone, 7 bucks, and I grabbed the tree climbing fanny pack for 50 bucks, still ridiculous but better than 119 at bass pro

Already checked into the big Savage Axis deal for Bass Pro and my podna says he has called around and most stores only got a few and there will be no rain check or anymore coming. Once they gone they gone. His store got 4 and the stores in Louisiana only got 3 or 4 each as well.

Also told me the gun deal to buy black Friday is the Browning with the leupold scope for $530(w/rebate). Said that Axis felt like junk in your hand anyway and the weaver scope was like looking thru 1988.

I own a Savage Axis II. Its decent. You definitely want to replace the optic on it. It's garbage. The Savage isnt my favorite rifle, but it weighted alright and I don't mind dragging it through the woods.

If you're near Lafayette, Academy has the Shimano Aldebaran on sale at the moment. Left hand retrieve is down to $231 from $420. Right hand retrieve was on sale too but nowhere near as good a deal.

Bass Pro also has the Johnny Morris Platinum Signature baitcaster for $125 ($75 off). I picked up a couple of this spring and like them more than my Curado.
