David Dao was a United Express flight.

We've hijacked the plane thread

The funny thing about it is most of you idiots wont even know if you are on a MAX8. The 737-800 looks almost identical, so much so that the safety cards are the same for both planes. If you trust getting on any other airplane made by the same boeing company and inspected by the same FAA that A: built and inspects every other plane you fly on and B. has spent an extra year painstaking scrutinizing and debugging the new plane 10x more than any other new plane in history. All of the pilots will be 10x more on guard for any potential issues as well. I will eat my hat if there is another crash after this.

You still have a fundamentally, aerodynamically, flawed airplane. Maybe they can load it with enough safety and tech that it will overcome that flaw.

But they still built a plane that wasn't structurally sound.

Did you even read what caused the crashes? There is not one damned thing structurally wrong with the airplane. Its the same structure that the 12 previous models use. The cause of the crash was a combination of pitch, stall and speed sensors that overrode pilot input to controls.

Jesus, let it go. Do you think it is the only plane that has to rely on safety and technology to get of the ground?

The failure was relying on only one input sensor and not training pilots. Get off of the outdated flawed design.

I would gladly fly it. Actually I would have willingly flown on the airplane with my family before all this came out as long as the pilots were American and Inwas on an American carrier.

The entire issue with the MAX was that by moving the engines forward on the wings they changed the flight properties during takeoff. To compensate, they used a computer program to make adjustments so that the pilots could fly normally. However, a lot of pilots either weren’t well trained on the system or tried to overcompensate when the computer lowered the amount of thrust, leading to the accidents. It’s also not surprising that the two big MAX crashes happened on small carriers whose pilots were surely not trained on the software.

I wouldn’t have an issue flying on one now that the computer issue has been solved and training has gotten better.

It’s like asking people to get on board something called the Hindenburg.

In the seat back pouch they need to put folders in for the 737 800. Then all will be fine. Passengers won't need to worry.

As long as it’s not a former Army aviator sure

It’s funny as shite how salty you are. Did one of us bang your old lady? Were you banging the flight ops chick at MAG and an Apache pilot stole her?

Army aviator? Since when does the army fly fixed wing aircraft?

Army currently flys C-12’s and UC-35 at a minimum.

But he’s talking about the RTP dudes.

So basically they fly VIPs and do covert SIGINT for the CIA and ISA.

Just stop trying to convince this board.

I've been telling them the same shite for weeks. They either don't understand or think it's funny to keep regurgitating the same arguments.

I'd like a list of planes built by the FAA.

I'll wait.

This.

I’m going to avoid the Max for the foreseeable future. And to be honest I’d be more concerned about it acting up 2 years from now once everyone starts to get complacent.

But LOL at anyone saying the Max is safe when reality proves you wrong.
