Coach O 2017 interview w/ Rece Davis after Troy loss

Every time Coach O pulls off a big win I think about what he said in that interview - "I know it's gonna get better, I know we're going to win championships here, I know we have the right plan...I ask them (the fans) to stick with us, because we're gonna get it done." Very few people believed it at the time.

He can thank his lucky stars that Urban Meyer lied to the Burrow's and Slicky Nicky stole Surtain away at the last minute. What were the odds of both of these things happening?

Most of us, including me, wanted that man gone after that Troy game. I thought he’d never bring us back to where we should be, and thought he would do nothing but hurt our program. I’m glad I was wrong and I’m glad we have Coach O!

It’s truly amazing how many great decisions O has made the last couple of years and I think the most critical decision that no one talks about is firing Matt Canada. Coach O had a vision and that man is on a mission. I love it!

He was right. And although I enjoyed smashing UGA. Obliterating OU. And taking a mercy knee on Clemson to clinch the championship.
The shot across the bow, and the point where the majority of the fanbase realized O was right about the direction of the program was when LSU marched into Tuscaloosa and proved they were the better team.
