LSU could potentially face:

Ohio State
Clemson
Alabama
Georgia
Oregon
Minnesota
Utah
Penn State
Oklahoma
Baylor

Which team/teams worry you the most? Which are you the most confident with? I think tOSU is the best team we could face on that list.

OSU for me, by a pretty wide margin.

Less confident in the defense against them than the offense.

OSU would worry the most but I doubt we would play unless we lost at some point and came in at #4 which won't happen, cause I believe if they lose they are out.

I would love to play any of those bottom 6-7 teams, because I believe we would destroy any of them.

Teams that can beat us:
Ohio State-they play D and they play O
Alabama - almost a carbon copy right now
Clemson- they are elite on D and the offense has improved significantly. Have been there before.
Georgia - their defense has been suffocating. At Auburn’s level but better. This game might look like that Auburn game but Fromm can make more plays than Nix.

We would score all over OU. But Hurts running ability scares me

I am not afraid of Clemson whatsoever. Burrow would shred that defense. And Trevor isnt what he was last year.

Ohio St and UGA have defenses that could give us trouble. Clemson and Bama rematch would be tough games.

Hard to tell. They looked good against a one-dimensional Wiscy who had just lost to Illinois, but is that really a good bar to use? They look the part more than any other team.

Alabama scares me the most despite not being the best team on that list. The biggest psychological advantage a team can have is getting a second shot at a team in a bowl game particularly one with national title implications, after losing to them in the regular season.

We need to quit discounting Clemson, because of their mediocre play. Dabo has showed the ability to play just well enough in the regular season to get to the playoffs, then have his team peaking at the right time. At no time last year did they play as well as they did against Notre Dame and Alabama, where they were completely dominant.

Don't even put Bama in this conversation. Lsu is number 1. Why give Bama another chance to beat us. Nothing playing Bama again benefits Lsu. It only benefits Bama.
