If you are a white democrat I believe you fully do know those white supremacist well and what they say behind closed doors.

The Democratic Party is based on white supremacy, in the past and present.

Link to tweet during the press conference

You can look up the original tweet with a lot more ease. Again, same identifier of "Progressives." The original tweet had the same air quotes around "progressive" and further narrowed it down to women "who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe."

We can argue about whether the tweets were in poor form or not, but the ambiguity angle is a strange one to take on this one.

The president has certainly voiced racist sentiments in past campaign events: "we're not getting their best and brightest", "Mexicans are rapists", "the drug cartels are crossing that border", etc. Very hurtful rhetoric coming from this White House.

And this is in keeping with a man who is godless and wholly worldly in his demeanor.

I don't know. I don't tweet either. I'll just copy the tweets here.

During press conference:

The Dems were trying to distance themselves from the four “progressives,” but now they are forced to embrace them. That means they are endorsing Socialism, hate of Israel and the USA! Not good for the Democrats!

Original tweet:

So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly

I can't see how anybody could argue he wasn't referring to the same women that held the press conference.

Do you have that tweet handy? "Progressive" democrat can refer to basically the whole party at this point.

quote:

During the press conference he tweeted "The Dems were trying to distance themselves from the four “progressives,” but now they are forced to embrace them."

Do you have that tweet?

Also, that's a true statement. Remember the timing here. AOC had just created a kerfuffle in implying that Pelosi was racially motivated in criticizing her. There was a rift forming, and after the "go back" tweet (for lack of better pithy terminology), they had to reaffirm their support for the same folks who'd been causing their own internal divide.

Him singling them out because of Democrats who'd previously been on the defensive against them being forced to publicly support them didn't mean they were the only ones being singled out by his original "go back" tweet.

In effect, they self-identified, then Trump commented on their party's duplicity in support.

Obama is a racist.

He said a white cop in Cambridge Mass. acted stupidly for arresting his black buddy for disorderly conduct.

See how easy it is to call someone a racist ?

And I agree with your point that skin tone, race, ethnicity, and whatever shouldn't shield you from criticism.

I'm just arguing that it's poor form to do the whole "go back" thing. I mean, I see posters on this board complain about hyphenated Americans. Just be American, right? Well, when you're only ever one disagreement from being told "to go back" (because you are a naturalized citizen as opposed to native born), that's not in keeping in the spirit of dropping that hyphen.

Just visit the south, if by chance you live in the south than you probably can't spot them because you are them, and it's not noticeable because it's just your way of life. Probably not your fault it's just the culture that you were brought up in.

Ok, but would you not agree the tweets are intended for the same subset of Congress women?

And? Racists support both major candidates during/after every election. Big freaking whoop.

You know this based on what data? Present it, please.

quote:

Why is that all these groups support Trump?

All which groups? Name 70% of them. Should be quite the list.

quote:

The proud boys for example are all lock step in with trump's comments and his actions.

The ethnically diverse proud boys, correct?

Just making sure we're talking about the same proud boys group here.

quote:

I am a white person and know who these people talk behind closed doors, because they assume you are with them.

1.) IDGAF what race you are, mijo.

2.) I assume you meant to type "how these people talk..."

3.) Are you saying that you believe whites "behind closed doors" speak ill of minorities....on their side? Does that even make sense to you? I urge you to reconsider

4.) Are you implying that my wife speaks ill of me to other whites "behind closed doors?" Because it kinda seems like that's what you're implying

5.) See how stupid shite gets when you speak in such banal generalizations? You're speaking to a black man (not that that matters), and making some ridiculously unfounded claims

6.) All you've REALLY done, as a self-identified white person, is reveal that you hang out with some pretty racist whites. Not that that makes you a racist, but you WERE the one talking about "the company that you hold..."
