In a substantial update to his initial account, Gordon D. Sondland recounted how he told Ukrainian officials military aid was tied to their commitment to investigations President Trump wanted.
...
The disclosure from Gordon D. Sondland, the United States ambassador to the European Union, in four new pages of sworn testimony released on Tuesday, confirmed his involvement in essentially laying out a quid pro quo to Ukraine that he had previously not acknowledged.

The testimony offered several major new details beyond the account he gave the inquiry in a 10-hour interview last month. Mr. Sondland provided a more robust description of his own role in alerting the Ukrainians that they needed to go along with investigative requests being demanded by the president’s personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani. By early September, Mr. Sondland said, he had become convinced that military aid and a White House meeting were conditioned on Ukraine committing to those investigations...

Very interesting. Will the building pressure be enough to cause the Republican Party to turn on this Outsider who is trying to de-rail the Trillion Dollar Gravy Train?

So was he lying the first time or is he lying this time.

But either way he's a liar.

If he wishes to maintain his cushy Wash DC career, he'd better turn on Trump the Outsider.

Sondland was told his testimony would not qualify him for the televised hearings.

He then asked to amend his testimony.

True story.

Neither. His interpretation was Biden was part of the deal. When he verified with the WH, he was told there is no QPQ related to Biden. However, there was a desire to force EU contributions, and to ensure US money wasn't getting tossed into a corrupt sewer.

Im guessing if you are going to lie, it is better to do it in a text message vs under oath in a congressional hearing

Congrats on completely discrediting yourself.

Interested to see if any evidence is introduced to prove this statement is accurate.

Like the text that states "no quid pro quo" of any kind...

Hmmmm. I wonder if his updated testimony has anything to do with the Project Veritas video dropped today saying ABC has all the info on the pedos Epstein helped. These webs are crazy.

Apparently Sondland corrected his testimony in light of the evidence that contradicts his testimony.

That’s pretty significant.

This is interesting. So, what you are saying is they were not withholding because of Biden, but because they didn't want the funds to be used for nefarious reasons?

I'm thinking it has more to do with him not wanting to go to jail for lying to congress. He had his memory "refreshed".

LOL

Yes, completely contradicting prior sworn testimony with your "impressions" is a solid choice.
