What about kids that “trick?” That hood rat as well? How many are gonna turn out bad?
When looking at crimes that are committed by juveniles. Blacks are responsible for 60^ of murders and 73 percent of robberies.......73 percent and only 15% of the juvenile population. And over 40% of incarcerated juveniles are black.
The good news for blacks is that over 76% of liquor law violations and 79% of DUIs are from white kids. They fade the heat a touch.

Only stopping to empty the bowls of Halloween candy at the door?

He was the owner of the Covington location, that’s it. He’s not a founder and has nothing to do with the New Orleans location.
I worked with Brandon and Jack when they worked at the Chimes learning the restaurant industry, in the early 2000's. Why do you think he wasn't originally one of the founders?
Also, the kids suck, he sucks. Don't want candy taken in mass quantities? HAND.IT.OUT.

No it’s not.
There is no correlation between taking extra candy and further crime.
None.
No, but there is a correlation between being a thieving piece of shite at 7, and a murderous thieving piece of shite at 17.

Why do people assume he has liability for his candy being stolen?
If he forgets to lock his doors, does he deserve to lose the change in his cupholder?

We used to leave candy out when my daughter was little because we wanted to take her trick or treating. I always figured some a-hole kid would take most of it though. It was the thought that counted for me I guess.

No, same as I didn't deserve to have my phone stolen at Rugby practice in Baton Rouge years ago. I assumed because I would never steal a phone left on the bleachers, but that was my mistake for assuming people are decent. They are not always.

It's a dumb comment to make. I lived in suburban Boston fifteen years ago and the same thing happened to me... except they took the whole bowl. I can 99% guarantee it was white kids, too, because... like I said... it was suburban Boston.
Going on some rant about how this leads to crime in the future is the moronic part.

For the moment, I’m calling bs on this. It’s not that easy to terminate a franchise agreement. I’m not saying it’s not going to happen but it certainly can’t happen this quickly.
Sure it can. Doesn’t mean it has been settled financially as certainly that can’t be done that fast but a lot of ways they could terminate. Code of conduct, breach of contract, mutual agreement. That can be immediate to protect the brand and it happens more often than you would think.
I’d be surprised if they don’t have contractural rights to terminate.

The whole underlying theme here is about societal mores.
Halloween is an accepted tradition where lots of kids go around neighborhoods getting candy from people that are generous enough to give it freely. Someone that is a functioning member of society understands this, and that other kids will be doing the same thing. It doesn’t matter that it’s just stupid candy, it’s that selfish and anti-social behaviour deprives others of the same little joy that they were receiving.
Abusing the system (any system that relies on mutual trust and honesty) ruins the system for the rest.
Broken cogs stop the machine.

I agree, but thieves have and will always exist. It isn't shocking. Men have stolen horses and been hanged in the old West, people's hands were cut off for stealing in antiquity. But to watch and comment on it on FB? Come on' go out and call them out, teach them right versus wrong.
